Victorian Christmas Planning – Seeking Participants
We are busy nailing down final details for Jacksonville’s Victorian Christmas. Although the month long event is coordinated by the Chamber of Commerce & Business Association, the Victorian Christmas is really a community effort. Linda Graham, Chamber Board Member, states emphatically, “It takes everyone – merchants, churches, organizations and citizens – to pull off this large of an undertaking.”
We are looking for people to join in the fun!
- Caroling and musical groups to perform as street entertainers on weekends. If interested please complete the form below.
- We have plenty of groups for the first weekend (Dec. 2 & 3) but really need more for the weekends of Dec. 9 & 10 and 15 & 16
- Jolly Holly Trolley Hosts – Greet passengers, collect fares, help people on and off the trolley and create a festive experience for our guests
- Parade participants – floats, bands, musical groups, etc. The Victorian Christmas Parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 3 at 10:00 am. You can submit your entry on line by Clicking Here, or print out a paper copy – (Click here for printable form) FPaper applications and any required insurance certificates can be dropped off at the Visitor Information Center, corner of North Oregon & C Streets, or mailed it to PO Box 33, Jacksonville, OR 97530.
