Meet the Pioneers Tickets on Sale
The beloved Meet the Pioneers event returns this October 5 & 6. The event features live interpreters sharing insightful stories about our past residents who made their mark on Jacksonville. Friends of the Jacksonville Cemetery volunteers put on this event as a fundraiser to help in the maintenance and restoration projects for the cemetery.
Tours are Friday, October 5 and Saturday, October 6. The first tour each day deparst at 3:30 p.m. then every fifteen minutes until the last tour at 6:15 p.m.
Tickets are on sale now. Adult tickets cost $15, Children $5, (12 and under) $35, Family (up to 2 adults and 3 children).
Reservations and tickets may be purchased as follows:
1) Website: Reserve tickets for the tour time of your choice. You will be asked to list a couple of tour times just in case your first choice is already sold out. Your reservation will then be confirmed by email requesting you mail us a check to cover the cost of the tickets. Once your check has been received your tickets will be placed in Will-Call for you to pick up at the event and before your tour departure time.
2) Email: Send an email to email@example.com to request reservations and the same procedure as above applies.
3) Phone: Call 541 826-9939 to request tickets. Leave a message and your call will be returned.
4) Ticket Booth by Post Office: 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. September 5 through September 8, September 14 & 15, September 21 & 22 and September 28 & 29. We can accept cash or checks only and checks should be made payable to FOJHC, Friends of Jacksonville’s Historic Cemetery. When mailing checks they should be sent to FOJHC P.O. Box 1541 Jacksonville, OR 97530.
