Victorian Days @ Beekman House
Join Historic Jacksonville between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month from May through October for our Victorian Days tours and activities at Jacksonville’s historic Beekman House Museum. One-hour tours begin every 15 minutes. New themes each month share different aspects of life in the late 1800s as viewed through the lens of the gold mining town of Jacksonville and the Beekman family, the town’s most prominent and wealthiest pioneers. In October we’ll host a special 2-day event:
10/20 & 10/21 – Victorian Mourning Customs – “Honoring the Dearly Departed”
All activities are at Jacksonville’s 1873 C.C. Beekman House Museum, located at 470 E. California Street. Admission is $5. Lawn activities are free.
Private tours for groups of 10 to 15 can also be arranged at a cost of $15 per person.
