There are some days (actually, that should be any day) when you really deserve to treat yourself well.
So make up your own spa day. We don’t have huge, fancy spas in Jacksonville, but you will find all of the benefits you need at our small, intimate spas and salons.
Stop 1: I like to start with a full-body experience like the hot stone massage at Spa Jacksonville or Angelca Day Spa. These are appointment only facility so be sure to book ahead. Both spas offer a full range of services including facials, mani-pedi’s, and all types of massages. Angelica Day Spay also offers an infrared sauna which is a special treat on winter days.
Stop 2: It is important to keep hydrated so stop in for tea and a bottle of water at GoodBean. While you are there check out their lunch menu.
Stop 3: Continue that zen feeling by talking a walk on the Woodland Trails. They start just a couple of blocks up the Britt Hill and offer easy access to nature and all of her healing aspects.
Stop 4: Ready for a bite to eat? Head back to Goodbean or you might want to try C Street Bistro. CIA trained Chef Paul Becking has a masterful hand with his seasoning which make lunch more of an event!
Stop 5: Two different options – yoga or a beauty treatment. Joyfull Yoga offers classes for both newbies and those more experienced. Louise is a specialist in sound healing, too, so look for those classes on her schedule. At California Street Skin and Nail Salon you can enjoy a mani-pedi while watching the passersby through the front windows which give you a view right onto our main street.
