Children’s Concerts at Britt
Britt Festival offers a series of nine engaging and interactive concerts for children. BrittKids Koncerts are FREE to the public and the mascot Scout says ALL KIDS of ALL AGES are invited!
July 26 Update: Due to the extreme smoky conditions prevailing in the region, the BrittKids Koncert series has been relocated until further notice. The free morning concerts for kids will now be held at the Oak Grove Elementary School gymnasium. Doors will open at 9:30 AM and the concerts will begin at 10:15 AM as previously scheduled. Oak Grove Elementary School is located at 2838 W Main St. in Medford, Oregon.
All performances start at 10:15 a.m. at the Britt Performance Garden, with the exception of the Aug. 18* concert.
The young and young at heart are invited to join the fun. BrittKids Koncerts are part of Britt’s Education & Engagement commitment.
Britt Education & Engagement connects our community to as many diverse music education and listening experiences as possible. Throughout the calendar year, Britt provides opportunities to discover methods of self-expression through music in partnership with like-minded organizations, musicians, and teaching institutions.
The positive effects of the study and playing of music on brain development, connectivity, and fine muscle coordination are well documented. Our programs provide the gateway to a lifetime of artistic contribution and enjoyment by future professional and amateur musicians.
