California Suite at Randall Theatre
‘California Suite’, arguably one of Neil Simon’s best comedic plays, gets its turn at Randall Theatre’s Jacksonville location starting June 23.
Simon is at his wittiest best with this confection in four parts. The play is divided into four stories, all taking place in the same room of a Beverly Hills Hotel. Visitors from New York, Philadelphia, London and Chicago check into the Hotel and deal with squabbling exes, feuding friends, a cheating husband and a bitter actress in town for the Academy Awards.
The cast features the talents of V. Simone Stewart, David Eisenberg, Judith Rosen, John Richardson, Levi Anderson and Alex Bringer. All play multiple roles.
Randall’s traditional Opening Night Reception. Tickets for Opening Night are $22 and include pre-show food and drink and reserved seating for the performance. Doors open at 6:30 for the reception. The show starts at 7 pm.
